Marianne design...

Literally speaking, because this time I just couldn't help myself and totally fell for this beautiful card that the ever so talentet Marianne had made here. It's this weeks sketch at Sketchy colors, but I just had to scraplift a little axtra, and boy was this card lifted... but then the result turned out awesome too! ;)

It's my mother-in-law-to-be's birthday today, and the cards for her.

I have used cardstock from Bazill and the patterned paper is by Marianne Design. The flowers is a die from Marianne Design. The motif on the outside is the sweet Mimosa from Bildmålarne and on the inside a mini Tilda from Magnolia, both of them colored with Copics. The swirl die is a Doohickey from Magnolia and the swirl stamp is also Magnolia, the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl, punch from Martha Stewart and the rest of the dies used are Spellbinders. the text is written in word and printet on a paper from Pink Petticoat.

Love is in the air...

I've been to my first scrapbooking class, our task was to make a mini album and boy did I learn a lot! A whole new world reveald itself for me and I can feel that I'm totally hooked. It was 4 intensive hour of information at Creativica in Uddevalla, Sweden and I'll go back any day!

I've been wanting to, but haven't had the guts to go all the way to - scrapbooking.. wow.. A whole new world for me, who is used to 6" x 6" as my work area..
Now was the time and I'm testing out as I go, hopefully I'll find my style eventually.

Her er første forsøk, to bilder jeg er glad i, fra en fantastisk opplevelse.
Here's my first go at it, with two pictures I really love, from an amazing experience.

A very special AWARD! :)

I haven't been online for a while, and when I logged on today I found this award from the ever so sweet and inspiring Barbara; The Versatile Blogger award - for me!

It is said that the purpose of the blog award is to bring light to bloggers who are creative, make great things, but have less than 300 followers. And the rules ask that you...

1. Thank the person who sent you this award.
2. List 7 things about yourself.
3. Send this to 15 bloggers

So here I go...

1. Thank you so much Barbara, it's really sweet of you and warms my heart.

2. I've worked with interior and lighting for 20 years.
I can't do any cardmaking or scrapping if my desk is messy.
I'm getting married in 31 days.
I can sit in my craft room ALL day and forget to eat and drink.
    I get migrains from sugar.
I love the ocean, it's the first thing I see when I wake up.

Raining love...

I admit it , I had to take away my counter after just 9 cards, since the trip to Sarpsborg yesterday ended at Scrappiness, with a shoppingbag full of goodies! Amongst other things, I got these gorgous patterned papers from Maja Design's new Fika line - it's so pretty!
Cardstock is Bazill, the motif is sweet Tilda from Magnolia, colored with Copics. The text is Whiff of Joy, dies from Spellbinders and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The swirl-stamp inside is a favourite of mine from Magnolia and I got the ribbon in a flowershop in Spain. The pearls from Kort & Godt.

I took the pictures late last night, postet my card and pictures and unfortunately the colors turned out bad, so at first ray of sunlight I took new pictures - now with the right colors. I do realize that I need to learn a thing or two about adjustments on my camera.. ;)

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Just Magnolia - Week 101 - A sketch
Stamptacular Sunday - Challenge #106: Girls & Swirls
My time to Craft - Challenge #136: On the spot
Papertake Weekly - Truly dimensional

Two in one day...

So happy to finnally be creative again after almost two weeks of intence pain from having my toncilles removed - AOUCH! Now I can eat, breathe, swallow, yawn and open my moth again, and therefore have the energy to create again. Yey!

Here's the second card to my sweet wonderful mom. This one was from us, my brother and his wife and their kids.
I found the idea for this card in an ad for Marianne Design at Crafts U Love and I've scraplifted shamelessly! I think the result is great! :)

I've used Bazill cardstock and both the patterned paper and the dies are from Marianne Design. The leaf punch is Martha Stewart, the thread is from The Ribbon Girl and the wonderful stamp is from Lily of the Valley and is colored with Copics. Alle the edges are distressed with Walnut Stain. The letters from a letterpunch from Claes Ohlsson.

Never ending card

Resultatene kommer i to innlegg her.

My dear mom turned 70 last Friday and I made two cards for her, one from my sweetheart and me, and one from my brother and me with families.
Here are the results in two different posts.

From the two of us I chose to make a folding card that I think is fun, this one without a stamped image, but with a lot of great details.

I've used Bazill cardstock and patterned paper from All My Memories and Basic Grey in swirls, tag and flowers. The corc letters are from Making Memories, swirls from QuicKutz and the retro punch from EKSuccess. The label die is Spellbinder and the tag die QuicKutz.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Basic Grey Challenge - More than one fold
Charisma Cardz Challenge - Weddings / Anniversary
