Christening and Cricut

I made this fun card for someone who wanted a card for a christening of a little boy, and the hints I got other than the name and date were cars... I wanted to se what fun things I can make with my Cricut and here is the result.

I made the envelope, card, letters and car with my Cricut. The stamp, that I can't remember where I got, is colored with Copics and cut out with Spellbinders die. The tag and the journaling card is also Spellbinders dies. The swirl die is Magnolia. The cardstock is Bazill and the designpapers are Maja Design and Papirdesign. The rose from Wild Orchid Crafts and the charms from kutttut.no. The frame is Kort & Godt and the text inside a cut out from Papirdesign. The silver ribbon from private stash and the blue from The Ribbon Girl.

Album: Sommeren 2008

Her har jeg fulgt videoen "How to make an envelope pocket album" og jeg digger resultatet.

I am totally hooked on mini-albums with tags and not to mention the ideas from the incredibly talented and inspiring Clare with My Creative Spirit channel on YouTube. She make the most amazing things and posts great tutorials that are so easy to follow and just so inspiring! Here I've followed the "How to make an envelope album" and I love the result!

This post has so many pictures that I chose not to write too much.

Again I've copied one of my alltime favourite scrappers, Yasmin's, idea and made "my own". I am the first to admit that this mini mini album is very much alike the original, of course because the original was sooooo beautiful.
If you want to see more of the beautiful and cool things Yasmin makes, look here.

LO; ..when in Paris..

This LO was made after seeing a swirlydoos sketch, made by their emenient designer Beggahuna.
I wanted to use this super cute picture og Tassen in Paris, where he's 'enjoying' his espresso and macron.

I used a Bo Bunny design paper,  flowers, butterfly and picture mat from Prima, more flowers from Color me Crazy and Wild Orchid Carfts, stems from Petaloo, chippies from RW Lazer Cuts and Dusty Attic, fence and eiffel tower is Cricut dies, bird cage is a Marianne Design die. the small letters are Webster's and the big ones are My Mind's Eye.

Here's the sketch I used, made by Swirlydoos sketch designer Beggahuna.

40 yrs of marriage!

My friends parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary and I made a card for the occation. Inspired by the ever so talented Yasmin, you can find her blog here, and the wonderful Fleur, her blog is here, I made this card. I love the way Fleur uses the Marianne design English roses, so I had to borrow some inspiration there.
One of the things I'm really happy with here is the coloring. I feel that I'm starting to get a hang of my Copics and I love the colors I used.

I made an easel card and used the lovely papers from Maja Design and xxx. Cardstock is TH Adirondack. The motiv is from Lily of the Valley and as I said, colored with Copics. The dies for the flowers and leaves is Marianne design, the swirl die is my all time favorite Doohickey from Magnolia. I used some cheesecloth behind the motiv and cut out the numbers on the Cricut with the "Plantin Schoolbook" cartridge. The label inside is made with a new Cuttlebug die cut-and-emboss set.

The text inside translates: "We don't find happiness, we create it."

Well, I might have found me a new favorite Doohickey; this set of labels that i use for my signature stamp are just adorable and so versatile.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Stamptacular Sunday - You choose
Craft Your Passion - Double up with pink
My time to craft - Punches & dies
Top Tip Tuesday - Layer it
Totally Papercraft - Layer upon layer

The cool neighbor!

Our wonderful neighbor in Sweden just turned 80, and a fun card was at it's place. He is so funny and cool, so I had to make a card to match his spirit.

I used a quarter of a paper that I don't remember the brand of, a bit of cardboard dabbed with Adirondack Snow Cap. The dies are Marianne and Magnolia and a die cut from Cricut "Heritage" cartridge. The numbers and letters are Cricut "Plantin Schoolbook" and the flower Prima. I used an image from Kreativ Hobby, colored with Copics.

The text stamp inside is also from KH and it says:
"Remember! If you want to look 10 yrs younger, you have to turn off the light!"

LO; My favorite street in San Francisco

I got the amazing lazer cut chipboards from Dusty Attic in the mail the other day and I had to do a LO with one of them right away.
This picture is from my favorite street in San Francisco, not my favorite place, that'll come later in another LO, but the name of this place kind of appeals to me... :-D

I've used the great pattern paper from Bo Bunny and added a skyline die cut on Bazill cardstock made with the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge on my Cricut. The swirl chippie is a DA0219, and the hinge is a DA0509, both used as they are. I used a lot of Prima on this page; flocked rub-ons, flowers and the frame around the picture. A BoBunny locket trinket and Tim Holtz ticket and game spinner. The wood letters are from Panduro and the other letters from Webster's. Can't remember where I got the butterfly and dragonfly.

The Flower Girl

I had another go at a LO, and I think it's more fun each time I try. I've always thought that LO's is something I probably couldn't do, but I really think they turn out great!

Her ett bilde av min nydelige niese Tessa, som nå er 15 år og like vakker - både på innsiden og utenpå!

This is a photo of my beautiful niece Tessa, who is now 15 years old and equally beautiful - both inside and out!

Her har jeg kuttet ut bokstaver i to farger.

I ordered a Cricut Expression on eBay, so much cheaper than in Norway or Sweden, and I'm so happy with the machine and everything that it can do! It's a lot to learn, but with the help of Above Rubies Studio I'm learning fast! Here I made letters in two colors.

Recipe:
Paper: Bazill CS, DP with stitches unknown
Embellishments: text Nille
Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts, Prima and more,
Lace: Coop Hedemyr
Punch: Martha Stewart Butterfly edge
Letters: Cricut "Plantin Schoolbook" and Basic Grey

I'm entering this LO in the following challenges:

Sukkersött: La deg inspirere av vann
Simon says Stamp!: Bingo - Flowers, lace, shape
Stampavie and More: Butterflies
Charisma Cardz Chall: Pink & Green
