Ladies day out...

The sun is shining, the snow is melting and I can really feel spring coming fast. What is then more natural than to bring out the stamps that completes that wonderful feeling!
I've been wanting to make this folding card for a long time, and when Gio now had this amazing tutorial at Whiff of Joy, I jumped right into it!

Cardstock is Bazill and the patterned paper is from Nille. This wonderful stamp is one of the first ones I bought, but I can't for the life of me remember where I got it from... I colored it with Copics on my new Xpress It blending cards, that I'm truly impressed with so far!!! The flowers are from Panduro and the string is from The Ribbon Girl.

You're special!

I guess I was too late to join the photo color challenge that I aimed for, but boy were there still a lot of challenges for me to join this week.

The patterned paper with the great colors is Basic Grey and the cardstock is Bazill. I used an embossing folder from Cuttlebug, that together with all the edges, got distressed with Distress Weathered Wood. I can't remember where this cute stamp is from, but I colored it with Copics. Would love some help here! Now I know, with Jeanette's help: It's from Whiff of Joy!! (How could I not know, I love WoJ!?) The text stamp is from ... eh... where was that again..? I can't remember that either.. Oh my, is this what turnig 40 is about?
The know the gorgous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the cute little buttons came from Basic Grey.
I have used this weeks sketch from Sketch N Stash, Challenge #57 .

I decorated the inside of the card to match the front.

Colorful caring thoughts..

I made this card first, before I started looking around to see if it would fit into any of the challenges of this week, and I have to admit that I sometimes smile a little to myself over the bit of fantasy that can be added in interpreting the theme of some of the challenges. I love it! This time it was Creative Belli Blogs Challenge "The letter C" that needed a little bit of creativety from me; here is the card with ; Card, Colorful, Care, Cast, Corner embellishment. :)

I used Bazill cardstock and patterned paper from Kaisercraft "Airy Fairy". The stamp is colored with Copics and is "Wee with broken leg" from Whiff of Joy, the text and the die are from Whiff of Joy, too.  The butterfly punch is Martha Stewart, the flower a mix of Wild Orchid Crafts, Panduro and Color me Crazy. The thread is Baker's Twine from The Ribbon Girl and the Corner embellishment from Wild Orchid Crafts.

All That....

After a fabulous weekend with the celebration of my 40th birthday from Friday to Sunday, I thought it was about time to get back into scrapping mode.
I wanted to take out my H20's again, it's been way to long since I last used them, and finally color this cool chick by Kenny Kiernan from Whimsy Stamps called "All That".
I used Bazill cardstock and the patterned paper is from Inkido. The beautiful circular dies is from Marianne design CreaTables and the image is cut out with Spellbinders. The text stamp is also Whimsy Stamps, it looks like I'm hooked on tickets now a days... :)
The flowers are from Panduro, the buttons are old and the ribbon I got at Scraporama last year, I just don't remember from where....
I decorated the inside to match the card.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Friday Sketchers - Sketch #145
Do You Stack Up Challenge Blog - Challenge #10 Layers
Die Cut Dreams Challenge - Challenge #85 Mothers Day/Special Friend

Stars and hugs

It's really not easy to stay away from webshops when there are so many incredible blogs, ful of amazing creations, ideas and temptations, men I'm doing good so far!
Only 47 more cards to make... :)

This card is the result of first using the weekend to practise using my Copic markers while watching Make it Crafty's amazing video tutorials over and over. I highly recommend them, Zoe is just incredibly skilful!
Here I've used Bazill cardstock, Basic Grey design paper toghether with a paper from Kaiser scrapbook. The stamp is beautiful Tilda from Magnolia, colored with Copics and the text stamp is from Whimsy Stamps. The star stamp is Inkido, the swirl die is Flourish from QK, the square is Spellbinders and the circle is QK Nesties. The sketch is CLP Challenge #34.

Time to think!

I admid it, I'm a scrapaholic!

I have stamps that I've never used, more paper than I'll ever use, and when I see something awesome or beautiful on a blog, I'm thrilled when there's a link to a store or a name so I can check it out and maybe get the same thing for myself!

I have to do something about this.

I saw this great counter on an awesome blog that belongs to the ever so talented and smart Lou and I copied her idea! I'm not a fast cardmaker, so I gave myself the goal of 50 cards before I buy ANYTHING except glue and some Copic markers!

I'm also going to get better at commenting on blogs, I'm copying that crafty resolution from Lou, since it's such a great one; I know how much it means to me, and I always intend to do it...

Check out Lou's blog here and se her beautful creations, and hopefully some of mine here later with lots of cool stuff I have stored away in drawers and boxes!

Thanks for stopping by / takk for at du tittet innom!

I won ! I won ! I won !

Maybe it's a little over-joyous, but I'm so happy winning my first challenge at Totally Papercrafts Challenge with my "Grumpy old men" card!
I know it was chosen by random, so it's not like being picked top 3, but it still feels really good. I've never won anything before.
(Well, not quite true - I did hit jackpot when I met my sweetheart.. <3 )

Pink, pink, pink

I really love pink, but I find that the cards I make in pink tend to get to "girly". I actually don't think this card did, I think it turbed out pretty cool, even though it is really pink!
I dig this mosaic background, it's one of my favourites!
I learned it here at StampARTics site a year ago and have used it many times since. It's so impressive every time, because it's so elegant in it's simplicity.
Here I've used Basic Grey design paper, cardstock is The Paper Company Double Sided Mulberry and Bazill. The stamp is one of the new Tildas from Magnolia, colored with Copics. The text stamp is Whiff of Joy. The dies are Spellbinders and the ribbon from Bikuben. All the edges are Distressed with Black Soot.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Pear Tree Designs - Challenge 38 - Ribbon
Craft Your Days Away Challenges - Challenge #14 - a sketch
Wild Orchid Challenge - Challenge 18 - anything goes
Creative Craft Challenge - Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
