Velkommen Systuen!

De søte jentene på Systuen har flyttet fra Bekketua til Hosle og der må de jo ønskes velkommen på ordentlig vis! Jeg ble overrasket over hvor mye utstyr jeg hadde med søm-tema, og hadde det så morsomt da jeg lagde dette kortet! 
Jeg blir utrolig inspirert av stilen til den Å-så-talentfulle Anne Kristine Holt og blir så glad over å se hvor bra Tim Holtz og Pion passer sammen! Hvis dere aldri har vært på Annes blog er det jammen på tide, så ta en titt inn HER!

The sweet girls at the sewing studio nearby moved to a new location and I made this card to welcome them to their new place. I was amazed at how many things I had with needle and thread theme. I get so inspired by the Oh-so-talented Anne Kristine Holt and it makes me so happy to see how well Tim Holtz unite with Pion Design papers. Papers: Bazill cardstock, Pion Design 'Från mitt hjerta II', Currolgated paper

Dies: Tim Holtz 'Sewing Edge', 'Sewing Room'
Stempler: Tim Holtz 'Wallpaper & Wood', "Attic Treasures'.

Colors: Distress 'Vintage Photo', Adirondack Alkohol ink 'Silver", Fresco 'midnight blue', Crackle Paint 'Picket Fence', Glossy accent.

Embellishments: Bikuben Flower Ribbon, cheese cloth, Tattered Angels frame, Tim Holtz pin, wood spools and lace from private stash, heartpin and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Valentines Day!

Endelig kom dagen da jeg kunne lage det ultimate kjærlighetskortet/gaven til min elskede! Jeg skal innrømme at jeg brukte litt ekstra tid - og koste meg veldig!
Esken er fra Søstrene Grene, men lokket passet ikke når papiret kom på, så jeg måtte endre litt på det. Jeg malte esken med Gesso og har brukt papir fra Nille og Basic Grey utenpå og inni. Kortet på lokket er Bazill med designpapir fra Nille. 
Motivet og hjertestempelet er fra Magnolia, bånd og metallhjerte fra Panduro og filthjerte fra Scrappiness. Motivet er malt med Copics, bakgrunn sprayet med Copic AirBrush. 
Kantene på tekstdelen er stemplet med Inkido sitt flotte swirlstempel. Båndet i sløyfen er fra The Ribbon Girl, opprinnelig hvitt, men farget med Distress stempelpute.

Finally the day came when I could make the ultimate love card for my sweetheart!
I have to admit I did use my time - and really enjoyed myself!
The box is from Søstrene Grene, but the lid didn't fit when I put the papers on, so I had to alter it a bit. I painted the box with Gesso and used design paper from Nille and Basic Grey. The card part on the lid is Bazill cardstock with design paper from Nille.
The motive stamp is from Magnolia's new collection, and the love heart is Magnolia too. Ribbons and the black metall heart is from Panduro, the felt heart from Scrappiness.
I painted Tilda with Copics, and spayed the background with my Copic AirBrush.
The swirls on the text part is from Inkido, the ribbon in the bow from The Ribbon Girl, once white, now colored with my Distress inkpad.

Weddingbells are ringing...

Endelig får jeg lagt ut ett kort igjen, etter en herlig uke i Spania med min kjære og en ikke fullt så herlig uke i sengen med streptokokker i halsen.. :(   Nå må jeg være på bedringens vei, for nå hører jeg pc'n kalle..

Now I finally get to post something again, after a wonderful week in Spain with my Man, and a not so wonderful week in bed with a strep throath infection out of this world :( Well, I must be getting better, 'cause the computer's calling my name again! :)

Jeg fikk en utfordring av min kjære venninne Kathrine for noen uker siden om å lage et bryllupskort og den tok jeg gjerne. Jeg har ikke veldig mange bryllupsstempler og hadde lyst til å prøve noe nytt, og da jeg innså at de fleste av de stemplene jeg har var brukt på ett NYDELIG trappekort i siste nummer av Ett trykk kom scraplifteren frem i meg...

I got a challenge from a friend to make a wedding card, and loved it, and when the last edition of Ett trykk came, with a card that was both challenging and new for me, and had all the same stamps I have - the scraplifter in me woke up!

Jeg har brukt cardstock fra Bazill og designpapir fra Panduro og Nille. Diesene er Spellbinders og puncher fra Martha Stewart, Fiskars og EKSuccess. Stemplene er Whipper Snapper og er embosset med Ranger Embossing Pearl 'Silver'. Tekststemplene er fra Stempelglede. Swirlstempelet er Magnolia. Blomstene og pins fra Wild Orchid Crafts. Det nydelige rosebåndet har jeg kjøpt på Bikuben, de andre båndene fra privat stæsj. Kanter svertet med Archival Ink 'Coffee' og Distress 'Tattered Rose'.

I've used cardstock from Bazill and designpapir from Panduro and Nille. The dies are Spellbinders and the punches from Martha Stewart, Fiskars and EKSuccess.. The bride and groom stamps are from Whipper Snapper, and are embossed with Ranger Embossing Pearl 'Silver'. The textstamps are from Stempelglede, the swirl from Magnolia. The flowers and pins are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The beautiful rose ribbon is from Bikuben and the other ribbons from private stash. The edges have been distressed with Archival Ink 'Coffee' and Distress 'Tattered Rose'.

I'm not entering this card in any competitions, because I really don't feel that it's my design. I've scraplifted to much for that, and I really compliment Ruth Ørsal for her  inspiration and beautiful card in the last edition of Ett trykk!
