Christmas i grey and brown

Av og til er det deilig å komme unna de vanlige julefargene i grønt og rødt. Her ett kort med en liten konvelutt som var tenkt til penger, men det ble ett ekstra lite kort.


Sometimes it feels good to get away from the usual Christmas colors of red and green. Here's a card with a tiny extra envelope that was originally thought for money, but I put an extra little card in there in stead.

All That....

Etter en fantastisk deilig helg med feiring av min 40 års dag fra fredag til søndag, var det på tide å sette seg ved scrappebordet igjen.
Jeg fant ut at det var på tide å finne frem H2O fargene igjen, lenge siden jeg har brukt de nå, og endelig få fargelagt denne råtøffe jenta av Kenny Kiernan fra Whimsy Stamps "All That". Jeg har brukt Bazill cardstock og designpapir fra Inkido. Den nydelige runde dies'en er fra Marianne design CreaTables og motivet er kuttet ut med Spellbinders. Tekststempelet er også Whimsy Stamps, det ser ut som om jeg har fått dilla på billetter om dagen... :)
Blomstene er fra Panduro, knappene er arvet og båndet kjøpte jeg på Scraporama i fjor, men husker ikke hvor...
Jeg har dekorert innsiden til å matche kortet.


After a fabulous weekend with the celebration of my 40th birthday from Friday to Sunday, I thought it was about time to get back into scrapping mode.
I wanted to take out my H20's again, it's been way to long since I last used them, and finally color this cool chick by Kenny Kiernan from Whimsy Stamps called "All That".
I used Bazill cardstock and the patterned paper is from Inkido. The beautiful circular dies is from Marianne design CreaTables and the image is cut out with Spellbinders. The text stamp is also Whimsy Stamps, it looks like I'm hooked on tickets now a days... :)
The flowers are from Panduro, the buttons are old and the ribbon I got at Scraporama last year, I just don't remember from where....
I decorated the inside to match the card.

Christmas is coming up fast...

Treet er pyntet, bordet er dekket, gavene pakket inn, kalkunen er klar for steking, ( den stekes en dag før her i huset ), risengrynsgrøten står i dynen slik at riskremen er sikret for i morgen og alle julekortene er sendt avgårde. Nå er det bare å puste ut, nyte kulden og solen og glede seg til i morgen. Julenissen kom en dag for tidlig her i huset, så jeg har allerede fått ett nydelig charms armbånd av min elskede fra Thomas Sabo, og er igrunnen fornøyd... :)

La klokkene ringe - det er jul!

Her kommer et utvalg av årets julekort, nå som de er sent.

The tree is decorated, the table is set, all the presents are wrapped, the turkey is ready for the oven (it goes in one day early in my house), the rice porridge is tucked away in the bed duvet so that the creamed rice is safe for tomorrow, and all the Christmas cards are sent. Now I can sit down, enjoy the cold weather and the sunshine and look forward to tomorrow. Santa came early this year; my sweetheart gave me a beautiful charm bracelet from Thomas Sabo so I'm actually quite content... :)

Henry the Mouse

Whiff of Joy lager fantastiske motiver, og ett av dem er Henry the Mouse. Her er han i julehumør, med den store julekulen klar for treet. Ideen til dette kortet fikk jeg fra dette fantastiske kortet her og jeg har brukt det flere ganger. Whiff of Joy har supre tutorials som gjør at vi noviser kan føle oss litt proffere. :)

Whiff of Joy makes amazing motives and one of them is Henry the Mouse. Here he is in Christmas spirit with a huge Christmas ornament ready for the tree. I got the idea for this card from the tutorial here and a used it quite a few times. Whiff of Joy has great tutorials that makes us amatours feel a little bit more proffesional. :)
