Love LO

After spending last Saturday at a workshop with Ingvild Bolme, (you can see the result in my last post) I got so inspired to make something using the techniques I had learned. Here is the result.
It is a beautiful picture from our wedding, and I felt it deserved the beautiful papers from Pion Design; Minnenas Atelje, I love the monocromatic look in the beautiful greyish pink color.

The flowers are Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts, the diecut swirls are from Nille, colored with Ranger dabber Pebble and crackle accent, and the gear is Tim Holtz. The butterflies are cutouts from more of Minnenas Atelje paper, the tag from a piece of clothing I bought, the swirl is Prima Say it in pearls and the letters are Lost & Found.

Two in one day...

So happy to finnally be creative again after almost two weeks of intence pain from having my toncilles removed - AOUCH! Now I can eat, breathe, swallow, yawn and open my moth again, and therefore have the energy to create again. Yey!

Here's the second card to my sweet wonderful mom. This one was from us, my brother and his wife and their kids.
I found the idea for this card in an ad for Marianne Design at Crafts U Love and I've scraplifted shamelessly! I think the result is great! :)

I've used Bazill cardstock and both the patterned paper and the dies are from Marianne Design. The leaf punch is Martha Stewart, the thread is from The Ribbon Girl and the wonderful stamp is from Lily of the Valley and is colored with Copics. Alle the edges are distressed with Walnut Stain. The letters from a letterpunch from Claes Ohlsson.

I'm entering this card in the following challenge:

I won ! I won ! I won !

Maybe it's a little over-joyous, but I'm so happy winning my first challenge at Totally Papercrafts Challenge with my "Grumpy old men" card!
I know it was chosen by random, so it's not like being picked top 3, but it still feels really good. I've never won anything before.
(Well, not quite true - I did hit jackpot when I met my sweetheart.. <3 )

Takk for at du tittet innom / thanks for stopping by!
